Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Department: Sales Status: Exempt Reports To: General Sales Manager Location: Auction Sales Department
Summary:
Responsible for contacting and marketing dealerships to bring consignment and increase the buyer/seller base within the auction. Develop long-term relationships with new prospects and enhance current client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Represents auction with utmost professionalism through various social events
Maintains update documentation through Auction Software
Contacts dealers by telemarketing including existing accounts and cold calling
Telemarketing in house by contacting a minimum of 30 existing clients and 15 prospective clients, totaling a minimum of 45 calls per day
Coordinate transportation of vehicles to the auction
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers to ensure success of weekly auction sales
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum one year sales experience
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including telephone etiquette
Knowledge of general office equipment
Basic computer software and keyboarding skills
Strong customer relation skills
Well developed presentation skills
Strong team player
Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelor degree preferred
Previous sales experience in automotive industry a plus
